Member of the week - Jörn Hendrik

Here at betahaus, it is our absolute pleasure to present one of our members: Jörn Hendrik. His presence is striking, his pitching is astonishing and his delicate apple-cutting-art skills are mind-blowing.

He is a true go-getter and career-changer. His career started working in his father’s business. His journey led him to a Tie and Cubefarm company, where he realized one of his life goals: to change business by making it a more transparent and people-centric world. He quickly ditched the ant-farm-like companies and set off in the world of co-working, good coffee and startups. Jörn mastered blog communities, social media marketing, networking and of course his jewel – sales. In 2011, he founded the specialized consulting company ffluid. Shortly after, he joined (and is still working for) one of betahaus-based startups Jovoto as superhero of their sales and crowd storming projects.

Jörn’s countless skills all contribute to his greatest asset – sales! He has more than 12 years of experience with B2C and B2B companies. His diverse insights from work and life experiences helped him combine the old-school structured sales approach with the new innovative market demands startups and freelancers need today.

On the 26th of October, Jörn will share his knowledge, experience and business tricks by guiding you through our Rockstar Sales Course here in betahaus. The course is structured to take you from beginner to Sales expert conquering three milestones of sales strategy. We also welcome sales professionals to take the course as it will give you an opportunity to expand your sales knowledge by learning new tricks and new approaches.

Why did we decide to do this course at betahaus? Simple: nevermind what background you come from or which field you work in - we all benefit from mastering sales. Learn to pitch yourself, build your client list, or sell your product. Sales is an asset.

After you’ve taken care of your paperwork and you’ve signed up both in Bürger- and Finanzamt, you are all set up to start working. One of the best ways to get integrated into the city fast, meet like-minded people, and even find clients is by working from a coworking space. There are tons of benefits for freelancers and luckily Berlin has a lot to offer in this way. A coworking space is a physically collaborative shared workspace, which brings all kinds of creatives and entrepreneurs together. It’s a perfect place for startups, freelancers, digital nomads and even corporates searching for innovation. And it’s the biggest advantage towards the typical office space is that it pushes a collaborative exchange between its members and facilitates the creative process and networking.
