The purpose of this meditation group is to carve out a space in our busy lives where we don’t need to achieve anything at all, and we can unwind.
We will meet at 6.30pm every Monday at betahaus (room will be announced before the session each week).
The form of the session will be 30 minutes of meditation followed by 30 minutes of tea and chats. At the start, we will have a chance to talk through the basics of meditation for anyone who is unfamiliar. This is not a course or class, so there won’t be extensive lessons or lectures. If people have their own techniques (breathing visualisation etc.) you are welcome to practise these here too.
Over the next few weeks, we might adapt the style or length of meditation depending on what people prefer. Hope to see you there!
