Meet the Member | Abhishek Singla founder at Prepzo and Ziel Lab

In this edition of our Meet the Members series, we sat down with Abhishek Singla, founder of Prepzo and Ziel Lab. From building AI-powered tools that help job seekers land their dream roles to supporting businesses in optimizing their revenue operations, Abhishek is a true multitasker in the tech and startup space. (He saved our CRM processes a million times) We talked about his journey, how he discovered betahaus, AI and the top mistakes companies make when using CRM tools.

Who are you?

Abhishek: Hi, I’m Abhishek Singla. I’m the founder of Prepzo and Ziel Lab. Prepzo is a career tech platform, and Ziel Lab is a revenue operations agency.

At Ziel Lab, we help companies optimize their sales, marketing, and operations using revenue operations tools such as HubSpot or any other CRM system.

At Prepzo, we’ve built a CareerTech platform to help job seekers find jobs and apply to them with custom-tailored resumes and cover letters. We also help them practice mock interviews — all powered by AI.

Speaking of AI — is AI stealing your job?

Abhishek: No, AI is not stealing my job! It’s helping me grow my services. We use AI for almost everything. What I could have achieved in a five-day timeline before, I can now do in five hours — with better quality and fewer bugs. But it’s very important to understand how to use AI and how to make the best out of it.

How did you discover betahaus?

Abhishek: Honestly, just a Google search for coworking spaces in Berlin! Working from home wasn’t very productive for me, and I needed a focused space. betahaus was actually the first coworking space I visited — and on the very first day, I knew this was the spot.

Even the name, betahaus, resonated with me as a “beta” business. I also looked at the roster of companies that started here and went on to succeed, and I thought — we want to fit in those shoes as well.

What do you like about being part of betahaus?

Abhishek: We’ve actually sourced a lot of business from betahaus itself, so it’s been great for business. But it’s also been amazing for my social life.

Being new in Berlin, it’s not always easy to meet people, but at betahaus, you get to meet others walking the same path. You connect, you collaborate, you build a community. It really helps you feel at home in a new city.

From your perspective, what are the top three mistakes companies make with their CRM tools?

Abhishek: That’s a good one — and an important question!

  1. Poor data model: Companies often don’t structure their data properly.
  2. Not keeping data clean: Inconsistent or duplicate data can really slow down operations.
  3. Using too many tools: When you use multiple disconnected tools, you fragment your data and lose visibility over where it belongs.
