We're Hiring! Full-time Community Manager

We’re looking for a community manager to join our growing team! Are you someone who loves to meet new people and help them out? Do you have a talent for organisation and spreadsheets? Are you excited about setting up community events with a professional level of English & German? We’d love to hear from you!

your QualIFICATIONS

50% of your time will be spent at our Front Desk. Duties include:

  • Registering new members in our management system
  • Updating member data and information in our management system
  • Helping with and setting up (new) members
  • Answering questions from visitors who are interested in joining
  • Screening and answering incoming emails
  • Receiving incoming packages and mail for members
  • Managing meeting room bookings
  • Maintaining the space: ensuring the spaces look nice, fixing printers, etc.

50% of your time will be spent on community events and Maintenance. Duties include:

  • Hosting in-house events like betabreakfast and betabeer & giving prospective members a tour
  • Organising various community events from A-Z: Establishing a brief concept, writing the description, creating the event listing, booking a space, securing event sponsors & partners, managing ticketing, ensuring proper permits (marketing department will support you with the promotions)
  • Maintenance of our space and database

Next steps

Requirements:

  • Professional proficiency in English & German
  • Some experience in event organisation & sales
  • Working knowledge of Mac and google suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-organized and capable of working with spreadsheets and project management software
  • Customer and service oriented
  • A hands-on team player who loves collaboration
  • Stress-resistant and capable of working independently
  • Great ad-hoc problem solving skills
  • Highly responsible and detail-oriented
  • Enthusiastic about meeting new people and helping them out (there will be lots of them!)
  • Kind in stressful situations
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study is a plus
