It’s the motherland of major conglomerates like Samsung, Hyundai, and LG, and it's the country where Google created its first-ever campus in Asia. Even in 2020, a year overshadowed by pandemic, the country made headlines for their effective response to COVID-19 using contact tracing to spur a quicker-than-average recovery.
