About the Workshop:
This entry level workshop will focus on visual storytelling, branding through the use of engaging and effective videos, and how to activate these on their websites and social media. Plus – we will make it fun and interactive!
We will present different ways how companies can take many steps on their own, how they can advance from the multitude of online tools and services that exist, and also how they can advance from that by hiring professionals. We will show what skills Youtubers put to use that can be easily replicated, how the best visual storytellers create emotional bonds in commercials and feature movies, and a step by step strategic and pragmatic approach that companies can execute to get their visual media off the ground.
We will end with a fun interactive session where workshop participants get to use fun mobile apps and create short videos on a set theme - all to make the workshop less theoretical and more interactive.
About the Event Holder:
Klaus Salminen will be leading the workshop together with partners of NoDivision Studios. Klaus has a background as a graphic design freelancer, website consultant, online marketing executive, social media strategist, actor and director on stage, keynote speaker at global seminars and as a film professional. The last 8 years Klaus has run the film production company Stockholm Media House, and now recently in Berlin started the film production company NoDivision Studios together with 5 partners. Stockholm Media House and NoDivision Studios have produced commercials, corporate films, documentaries, short and feature-length movies and music videos. On Youtube, the productions have reached millions of viewers. NoDivision Studios also runs the Berlin Independent Film Community with over 1600 independent filmmakers that collaborate in film production, host workshops and arrange movie screenings.
