As Coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnoses continue to increase around the world, we want to share our commitment to providing a safe environment for our members and employees.
We are hopeful that the Coronavirus will not significantly impact our day-to-day, but nevertheless, we are taking the following measures based on sources like WHO, Robert-Koch-Institut, and the Gesundheitsamt.
Our commitment has always been to our community and clients, and this time is no different. We will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions that consider public health along with our mission. We’re determined to do our part by supporting official actions that help to prevent the virus from spreading and harming risk groups.
Updated 18 March 2020
Our Front Desk will be on reduced hours strictly for Post + Parcel collection. Starting 17 March 2020, the Front Desk at both spaces will be open from Monday-Friday, 10:00 - 14:00, and online until 18:00.
Our coworking spaces will remain accessible for members. We’re committed to keeping our workspace open (for a maximum of 50 people) as long as it is reasonable to do so, as some of our members are dependent on our workspaces despite the current situation. Everyone is instructed to follow the health and safety guidelines.
Our staff will be working remotely. Aside from the limited Front Desk hours, we've asked our staff to work remotely until further notice.
Community events organized by betahaus will be paused and/or brought online. This includes betabreakfast, community yoga, basement.sessions, and betabeer. Check out which events are being hosted virtually here!
We are still accepting Event Space and Team Space Bookings. Although our in-person community events and gatherings of more than 50 people are paused indefinitely, we are still accepting Event Space Booking Inquiries for when business operations return to normal.
What We are Doing

Encouraging social distancing by pausing community events
Cancelling in-person meetings and encouraging employees to work from home when possible.
Providing disinfectants in the restrooms
Educating coworking and event staff on health best practices
What to Do If You’re Feeling Sick
Should you feel like coming down with a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, it is advised by the medical and local authorities to:
- seek medical care early
- call in advance before visiting any medical facility
- take enough time off before returning to work
Calling in advance will allow authorities to quickly direct you to the right health facility and to make sure any facility can prepare to help prevent the spread of viruses and other infections.
We ask that you report any illnesses to email@example.com so we can take the appropriate next steps.
