We all love to laugh. But we don’t always have reason for it. The cure? Laughter Yoga! In a Laughter Yoga Session we laugh without jokes or comedy. The laughter is stimulated with body exercises. The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on the fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter. Regularly done one gets physiological benefits. For example laughter releases endorphins (natural pain killers), strengthens the immune system, massages all internal organs and stimulates creative thinking. But most of all laughter relieves stress. So it’s good against all stress-related illnesses.
But most of all: IT’S A LOT OF FUN!

It is very easy and absolutely everyone can do it. You don’t need to be fit or able to do “regular” yoga exercises. Just bring along a little bit of childlike playfulness! It’s ideal to “refresh” your brain and body. And isn’t it always fun to try something new? So come along and join us!
Laughter Yoga is the brainchild of the Indian Physician Dr. Madan Kataria. He started the first Laughter Club in Mumbai in 1995. Today there exist about 6000 Social Laughter Clubs around the world – of course also in Berlin!
Participants should bring a yoga mat or a blanket and comfortable shoes or an extra pair of thick socks!
